Girls (12 to 19 years) who binge eat and purge can participate in the study and receive inpatient or outpatient treatment at no cost. Monetary compensation (up to $900) is also available. Entries may feature eating disorder facts and statistics; encourage those who are struggling to seek help and support; share the message that recovery from eating disorders is possible; or offer messages of positive body-image, self-esteem and confidence.
