2010-2011 Teen Advisory Board Members:
Alison Belilty
President
Alison is a finance student at William T. Dwyer High School and is President of The Alliance’s Teen Advisory Board. She has volunteered with The Alliance for more than eight years, lobbying in D.C., modeling in the annual re(Define) (Real)ity ™ Fashion Shows and raising awareness of positive body image and eating disorders awareness on her high school campus. Alison also loves fashion, especially when styles compliment bodies, making men and women feel beautiful and confident in themselves.
Zoe Loren
Vice President
Zoe has been vice president of the Junior Board since its inception. Having someone close to her suffer from an eating disorder motivated Zoe to become involved with The Alliance, encouraging her to do all she can in the fight against eating disorders. As a junior at Suncoast High School, Zoe wants to bring awareness to her campus through interactive and creative activities, presentations and campaigns.
Jaclyn Rosen
Secretary
Jaclyn is a senior at William T. Dwyer High School and the secretary of the Teen Advisory Board. Jaclyn is a section editor for her school’s yearbook and staff writer for the newspaper. Sticking to her true journalistic roots, Jaclyn hopes to further public awareness about eating disorders and hopes to have a successful second year on the Teen Advisory Board.
Aaron Goldstein
Treasurer
Aaron is currently a junior at Suncoast High School and the treasurer of the Teen Advisory Board. He joined the Alliance in 2009 to help spread awareness and help better inform teens in the area on the dangers of eating disorders. In his spare time Aaron enjoys doing volunteer work and practicing with his crew team.
Bailey Monarch
Bailey is a junior at East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Florida . She is a straight A student in the AP/honors curriculum. An avid dancer with more than 12 years of dance in pointe, ballet, tap, and jazz, she has performed such roles as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Clara in the Nutcracker, and has performed Pas' with professional dancers from the Sarasota Ballet and New York City Ballet. Bailey is also active in drama and has performed the roles of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Wendy in Peter Pan, and Alice in Alice of Wonderland. She has performed in more than 30 productions. Bailey is also very active in her community with more than 250 volunteer hours.
Bailey is in recovery from Anorexia and is using her voice to bring awareness to eating disorders and to help others. Due to the impact eating disorders have made on her life, Bailey plans to become a pediatrician specializing in adolescents with eating disorders.
Megan Spears
Spending most of her childhood in Lake Worth, Florida, Megan Spears will be a senior at Matlock Preparatory this school year. Megan's passion for volunteerism and her personal struggles with an eating disorder brought her to join the Teen Advisory Board and participate in spreading The Alliance’s vision. Megan’s interests include international travel and the arts.
Jessica Zweig
Jessica is a junior at Jupiter High School, and became involved with the Alliance after witnessing one of her own friends struggle with an eating disorder. Through the organization, Jessica hopes to spread awareness about the seriousness of eating disorders, and also help teenagers feel more comfortable in their own skin. In her spare time she enjoys lacrosse, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends.
