Dallas EDucational Virtual Training Day

Join us on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST for a full day event that brings together experts from diverse fields in the treatment of eating disorders. The training focuses on topics including the treatment of eating disorders in adolescents and their families, medical complications, the co-occurrence of eating disorders and substance use disorders, the practice of EMDR in treatment, and treating negative body image in clients in larger bodies. The training day will encompass five workshops with continuing education opportunities. The training is also open to students, recent graduates, and medical practitioners who are wanting to learn more and expand their skill set. Attendees will be eligible to receive up to 7.5 CE hours.

20 Years, 20 Stories: Celebrating 2 Decades of Creating Change

In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, please join us on Thursday, October 15 at 7:30 PM EST for our virtual gala, which will feature 20 stories from individuals who have inspired us over the past two decades. This virtual gala will include a special award presentation to our Global Changemaker, actor and activist Jameela Jamil, and appearances by several sitting members of the United States Congress and local government. We hope you will help us celebrate this milestone in our history, as we reflect on where we have been and look forward to where we are going.
