Delaware EDucational Training Day

Join The Alliance for our Delaware EDucational Training Day on Friday, September 20th in Newark, DE.  This 7.5 hour continuing education training brings together experts from across the country to take a look at the of blending ACT and DBT, using Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, a conscious approach to nourishment, Anorexia Nervosa in adolescents, and the effects of weight stigma. The training is complete with five plenary sessions, networking opportunities, and breakfast/lunch.

Vero Beach EDucational Training Day

Join The Alliance in partnership with the Rebecca Streetman Fund and the Mental Health Association in Indian River County for our Vero Beach EDucational Training Day on Friday, September 27th at the Quail Valley River Club.  This 7.5 hour continuing education training brings together experts from across the country to take a look at medical complications of eating disorders, treating substance use and eating disorders, understanding attachment trauma and patterns in co-occurring disorders, integrating ACT, and challenging perfectionism as a clinician. The training is complete with five plenary sessions, networking opportunities, and breakfast/lunch.

Austin EDucational Training Day

Join The Alliance for our Austin EDucational Training Day on Friday, October 4th at The University of Texas at Austin.  This 7.5 hour continuing education training brings together experts from across the country to take a look at the Collaborative Model, incorporating siblings into treatment, managing nutritional needs, the effects of weight stigma, and how to be an affirming therapist. The training is complete with five plenary sessions, networking opportunities, and breakfast/lunch.

Proceeds raised at the event will remain in the community, in hopes of starting a free, clinician-led, weekly support group for adults currently braving the road to recovery from their eating disorder.

Join The Alliance for our New Orleans EDucational Training Day on Friday, November 22nd at Loyola University New Orleans.  This 7.5 hour continuing education training brings together experts from across the country to take a look at eating disorders and substance abuse, dissociation and eating disorders, how to be an affirming therapist, shame, guilt, and stigma in Binge Eating Disorders, and preparing college students to return to campus life. The training is complete with five plenary sessions, networking opportunities, and breakfast/lunch.
